MEET CHRIS
Chris Rowland is a lifelong conservative, seasoned business executive, and proven leader with over two decades of experience driving results in the private sector. He currently serves as a key executive at AmeriTex Pipe & Products—the largest precast concrete producer in Texas—where he leads with a focus on customer service, commercial excellence, and strategic growth. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its product lines and opened new facilities across the state.
Chris has held numerous executive positions throughout his career, including Chief Operating Officer at Laguna Tubular Products and Senior Financial Analyst at Rinker Materials. He has also served as a controller and senior officer of a regional bank and is the founder of several successful business consulting firms. A Certified Management Accountant, Chris graduated cum laude from Walsh College with a degree in Business Administration. He currently serves on government relations committees for several industry associations. Chris is a regular presence at the Texas State Capitol and in Washington, D.C., advocating for infrastructure improvements and commonsense public policy.
In every role, Chris brings conservative principles, a deep respect for fiscal responsibility, and a strong belief in Texas values.
OUR FAMILY
Chris and his wife have been married for 37 years and share a deep love of faith, family, and Texas tradition. Together, they enjoy spending time on their Hill Country ranch and traveling across the country. They are the proud parents of two adult sons and grandparents to three grandchildren—with one more on the way.
The Rowlands are committed to preserving the values that make Texas strong: hard work, personal responsibility, and service to others. Chris has given back to his community as a Captain with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, promoting Texas heritage and supporting the educational future of young Texans. Family is the foundation of Chris’s life and the reason he’s running—to ensure a brighter, safer, and more prosperous future for generations to come.
House District 10 deserves strong, conservative leadership that protects our values, strengthens our communities, and secures our future. I will fight for fiscal responsibility, meaningful tax reform, and a commonsense approach to regulation that puts small businesses and working families first. As a Life Member of the NRA and proud gun owner, I’ll defend our Second Amendment rights, stand with our military and first responders, and champion border security to keep our communities safe.
I believe in empowering parents in education, protecting the unborn, securing our elections, and expanding Texas’ energy independence to meet the demands of our growing state. As an effective leader, I know how to bring people together and get things done. I will work with others in Austin to ensure that real progress and meaningful change are not just talked about—but actually delivered—for the people of House District 10.
